Accessorize wisely

Start by picking a signature accessory that you like to wear with all your outfits. This could be a watch, necklace, hat, sunglasses or any other item that you feel confident wearing. Once you have a signature accessory in place, you can start selecting attention-grabbers for each look. These could be a bold necklace or earrings, a wide-brimmed hat or a statement handbag.
Pay attention to the colours and patterns of your accessories. Be sure to choose shades that complement each other and create an overall look that is balanced and stylish. To get creative with your style, try mixing shades that go well together, such as grey and pink, or black and gold. You can use the colour wheel to get combination ideas and play around with them. Remember that the right accessories can transform any outfit and make it look more expensive. Matching accessories are outdated and should be avoided, so mix up your pieces to keep your look fresh and modern.

And don't forget to Take care of your clothes!

Everyone will probably have garments collecting dust at the back of their wardrobe - tired, stained or faded. Many of these were new only a couple of months ago. Approximately 90% of our clothes are thrown away before their intended lifespan. The culprit? Poor care habits. Not only is this a waste of money, but it also contributes to fast fashion and environmental damage when you use too much water, energy and detergent. If you follow these small habits every laundry day, you can help your clothes AND the planet live longer. Here are some tips for proper garment care:
There will probably be garments in everyone's wardrobe that are tired, stained, or faded.
1. Wash less if you can
Think twice before washing your clothes. Overwashing garments can damage fibres and reduce their lifespan. If a piece of clothing doesn't need a major washing, use some handy ways to freshen it up rather than just throwing it into the wash.
2. Wash at low temperatures. When the time does come to do a clothes wash, wash at lower temperatures – washing at 30° or less helps to reduce those emissions, while also protecting your clothes.
3. Let everything air out: lay your garment flat on an airer now and then to allow the elastic to relax.
4. Avoid using the dryer as it can damage garments and reduce elasticity significantly.
5. Wash dark clothing inside out. Dark fabrics can bleed when washed and fading is slightly inevitable over time.
6. Don’t ignore the care labels. At times we can be dismissive of the care labels and their explanations, even though we shouldn't be. Your clothes will shrink if we put them in the washer for too long at too high of a temperature or if we mix dark clothes in with white ones and those shirts are laundered together. Not following care instructions can result in any of these outcomes.
